Fundamentals of effective colonoscopy
A high-quality colonoscopy requires a good insertion technique, with minimal patient discomfort, coupled with a vigilant detection strategy. Taking a patient-centred approach, this course focuses upon painless endoscope insertion techniques, pain management strategies and regimes for the effective detection of lesions.
During the hands-on sessions, participants will be able to improve their insertion techniques using the latest technologies, including the colonoscopy simulator, colon models and ScopeGuide.
